1-pole bi-directional DC NO contactors, max. switching voltage up to 1,500 volts and continuous currents up to 3,000 amps

C330 is the first ever Eddicy compact high-performance contactor to cover MCS Level 2 (1,500) and MCS Level 3 (3,000 A). The series features a compact, open-isolation concept which prevents rupture even under the heaviest failure conditions and heavy short-circuit currents, preventing damage to surrounding components. The C330 contactor can withstand a short-time current of 15,000A for five milliseconds without the contacts welding, significantly enhancing system safety. With separate contact systems for switching and current carrying, the series stands out for its exceptional longevity.

Features

  • No explosion risk:
    Permanent magnetic arc quenching without gas encapsulation to prevent overheating and overpressure at all times

  • Best-in-class performance:
    Main contacts with a contact resistance of only 50 µOhm for low power dissipation and less cooling

  • High longevity:
    Separate contact systems for making and breaking as well as for carrying the current ensure high safety and endurance

  • Maximum reliability:
    High short-time currents up to 15,000 amps for 5 milliseconds without contact welding

  • Low power consumption:
    Integrated eco­nomizer ensures ideal pull-in behavior when switching on and minimized energy consumption in holding mode

  • V2G-ready for bi-directional charging stations:
    Bi-directional contactors are required for optimal interaction between electric vehicles and charging stations. They enable not only charging, but also energy feedback into the grid or the use of the vehicle battery for domestic power supply

The C330 is designed for stationary use in charging stations, energy storage systems or photovoltaic applications.
