The Schaltbau C110B series stands for configurable 1 pole, bi-directional DC battery contactors up to 48 volts (80 volts rated insulation voltage) and continuous currents up to 400 amps.

With the bi-directional C110B DC contactor, Schaltbau offers an economic solution for the switching of battery voltages of up to 48 volts (80 volts rated insulation voltage). The single-pole NO contactor is available in four sizes: for conventional thermal currents up to 60, 100, 150, 250 and 400 amps.

The C110B meets the standard for battery power-operated industrial trucks (EN1175). As a main contactor in industrial trucks, it connects battery and drive and, if required, it can disconnect the connection securely: both in normal operation (battery discharge) and during the charging process. Since this DC contactor can switch bi-directionally, it is also recommended for numerous other stationary and mobile battery applications with an operating voltage of up to 48 volts; e.g. for battery chargers, mobile lifting platforms and automated guided vehicles (AGVs) in intralogistics.

Features

Bi-directional DC contactor in five standard sizes

The C110B is available in four sizes, for carrying 60, 100, 150, 250 or 400 amps. The connecting dimensions correspond with the usual market standard.

Enclosed contact area

Thanks to the enclosed design, no dirt or dust can ingress into the contact area. The contacts are preserved.

Optimised for the requirements of industrial trucks

The C110B DC contactor has been tested according to EN1175: the standard for battery power-operated industrial trucks. In industrial trucks it can work both as a main contactor and also switch subsystems, such as pumps.
